Bob Wilson – CEng FIStructE
Bob sadly passed away at home in late 2021 and is sorely missed by all at The Structural Exam. His influence on the structural engineering industry cannot be understated and his legacy as passionate advocate for structural engineering practice lives on in the work we do here at TSE. To share a memory or pay your respects to Bob, head over to the in memoriam forum page here.
Retiring from industry after a long and distinguished career in structural engineering, specialising in concrete technology, Bob is a former IStructE Chief Examiner, Marking Examiner and question setter for the Chartered Member and Associate Member exams.
Bob’s insight into the examination process has been invaluable for many candidates he has mentored along the way. Prior to retiring he held Membership and Fellowships with several other professional engineering institutions. Bob has provided Quality Assurance behind the structural engineering content of The Structural Exam.
With input spanning the the majority of The Structural Exam's history he played a key role in developing our flagship product, the Exam Guidance Pack as well as providing guidance to the TSE Team for the Past Paper Marking Service.
