Non-Dimensional Slenderness chart
On this page you can download our chart to estimate the non-dimensional slenderness value of a column for buckling purposes.
This calculation is derived from EN 1993-1-1 Equation 6.50. Instead of performing the full calculation you can read off this chart in the exam, linearly interpolating if required, and reference it within your script as below:

You will need to use this chart in conjunction with Figure 6.4 and Table 6.2 of EN 1993-1-1. Remember that if your non-dimensional slenderness is < 0.2 then there is no reduction in capacity for that particular mode of buckling.
