About the Authors
Written by Luca Costa, a Chartered Bridge Engineer, this Exam Guidance Pack is an essential resource for anyone preparing to sit the IStructE Chartered Membership Exam. Luca is a practicing engineer working for Arup in Australia.
The TSE team also contributed to this guidance pack, bringing the experience from our highly successful exam guidance pack in to this new version, written specially for aspiring chartered bridg engineers.

What does it NOT include?
While the information in the booklet is transferrable and usable for all questions, this guidance book focuses on Question 3, the bridge question.

There is no substitute for hard-won, real-world knowledge, but the exam tips and advice we provide can help you to demonstrate your knowledge effectively, and allow you to reach your full potential on exam day. The exam is like no other you will have taken, so effective preparation is key.
