Back in January we took a big leap forward by publishing Part 1 of our IStructE Exam Guidance Pack. Since then Ralph has been diligently writing away for the last few months, and we have been pouring our heart and soul into the second part.
Finally today we are proud to announce the release of our latest Exam Guidance Pack to include Part 2!
The Guidance Pack now covers all sections of the exam question, from initial concepts down to calculating critical details and writing method statements. Candidates will be able to follow this pack to prepare effectively for their exam, and to have a good idea of what is acceptable as a submission.
We took on board the feedback we received from customers of the first pack too, and included further explanation of the preparation stages and also included advice straight from a current Chief Examiner of the IStructE exams – our very own Bob Wilson!
Our main sales page is here, but in short we have done the following:
- We asked Ralph to put his neck on the line and write a full worked solution (July 2016, Q1) and have it marked like a real exam script. Bob's examiner's annotations and commentary have been included and there is no other resource which allows you to see such detailed feedback on an exam script. You will not receive anything like this from the IStructE either (even if you fail!). Bob's annotations will be invaluable for your exam preparation.
- Our previous edition was 38 pages, but this new ebook is 132 pages! (Ralph's worked solution comprises 40 of those pages)
- As a gesture of our gratitude to those who bought Part 1, we are offering a discounted price for this latest pack of £30, down from £75 for full pack's price. This offer expires on 14th July 2017 and you should follow the instructions in the sales page to take advantage of this offer.
You can also download a sample of the new pack from this page. Feel free to look inside and if you have any more questions, you can contact us. We will also be carrying a copy of the guidance pack on our tour over July and August. If you happen to catch us, please flag us down and we'll be happy to let you flick through.
We hope you will find this resource very useful!
