Want us to come to you? We’re touring over July and August
One of the great things about creating this website is the amount of people who have emailed us to show their appreciation. It is an incredibly rewarding feeling and we are deeply touched!
We are always seeking feedback and making improvements wherever we can. One thing we want to try is to tour the country and come to see you where you are – at your workplace!
Ideally we would be able to present to a group of graduates and mentors so we can reach as many people as we can in the same visit.
So far we have visits to the following cities planned:
- London
- Cambridge
- Bristol
- Birmingham
- Manchester
- Edinburgh
If you are anywhere else in the country and enough people from the same area contact us for a visit, we will happily consider a separate trip.
If you are part of a Young Members Group somewhere, it could be a good reason to get your members along and hold a mid-summer drinks event!
We will be carrying the latest copies of our IStructE Exam Guidance Pack (including Part 2, which comes out next week) and our ICE Exam Guidance Pack from our sister site, so you can have a flick through if you are considering buying it.
Our known plans for July and August are currently:
6th July: Hong Kong visit available
10th July: IStructE Young Engineers Conference, London
12th July daytime: Cambridge visit available,
12th July evening: IStructE Dinner
13th July (afternoon), Cambridge visit available
14th July: ICE Future Engineers Conference, London
17th – 19th July: Bristol/Bath/Cardiff visit available
20th – 21st July: Birmingham visit available
24th July: Manchester visit available
26th – 28th July: Edinburgh or Glasgow visit available.
1st half of August: Anywhere available
2nd half of August: Hong Kong
If you are already going to one of the events, or If you want us to stop by, feel free to contact us! We are jointly based in London and Bath/Bristol so these locations are relatively straightforward for planning. For other cities we would probably take the train or plane.
